Parents, did a coach ever ignore your child, promising playtime that never happened, hurting childrens morale, selecting only the best players, while using gov grants to run leagues, is that fair? please give your input, what can be done? What did you do? Its seems their solution is upsetting parents enough to leave and not bring the child back to the team! most coaches are volunteers but there must be another way! I've seen it too many times! thanks!

My son was 16 playing youth football-unlimited division.He was bout 5'9" and around 165 pounds.He was at practice everyday rain or shine.He worked the plays and would follow them to make defensive plays.
Come game day the coaches "nephew" was put in the game,he came to practice on Monday,could not be there on Tuesday(boy scouts),missed Wednesday(church),Thursday brought youth choir,and Friday was Family movie night..
My son was at practice everyday but was benched for the "nephew".
Ironny was the league made the team forfit all games for an overage player.His b'day came 1 day after cut off.

uhh who hasnt experienced this? this is america. I got cut from the basketball team because the coach did not like me and he picked his friends. Even though i was one of the best kids.
