Who said that "Tom Boys" are not just as feminine as any other Female. Obviously You have not been around much, have You?Men prefer Women. Boys prefer Girls. Genuine People prefer People with Real Personalities. Plastic People prefer "Polymer Pretties"! Get the idea? Each to their own. My best friend is still a "Tom". But She was also a model too! Being a "Tomboy" is a statement that tells the world that You are comfortable with Yourself and don't give a hoot for what others think!

Men have a variety of preferences. A feminine girl can be athletic. An athletic girl can also be girly. There is nothing hotter than a babe who kicks butt at her sport and leaves the game knowing she beat the crap out of the butches but still looks hot! What guy wouldn't wait at the ballpark, court or gym for that!?!

Of course we prefer feminine women over tomboys, the reason should be self-evident in the term "tomboy"
"A tomboy is typically described as a girl who behaves according to the gender role of a boy"

I think it depends a little on the "total package."
I like women who look and act like women. Some athleticism is fine, great even, but I definitely want some obvious femininity.
Athletic women tend to be healthier, more stable, and I have generally found them to be a little easier to get along with. But, they need to be clearly female, with no masculinity. I reserve that for myself.
Tomboys are okay. Just so long as they maintain some femininity.

mostly girly, some athletic...opposites attract each other thus feminine women are prefered over athletic ones, who have masculine characters in them. But those who want nice Figures go for athletic ones.

well, i'm sure if you met a sporty guy, he wouldn't mind being able to play 1-on-1 basketball, or some gritty sport with you...it no fun playing sports alone (watch love and basketball)...but one doesn't need to be sporty all the time, it'd b nice once in a while to be able to dress up and go out to a fancy dinner too
i've got to say my girlfriend is more tomboyish than most, but she still has her feminine side, which is cool...best of both worlds..
most importantly is to be yourself and don't change because somebody wants you to (unless its a crappy habit like smoking). there are all types of men who want something different in their girl

Yes, I think thats true. I am not sure but if you switched that around would u want to go out with a girly guy? I know that sounds weird but it the same with guys going out with "tomboys". Guys would probely rather go out with girly girls just because they arent so much like their friends.

This is a funny question because the girl I have a crush on has arachnophobia so yes, I do like girls who are afraid of spiders... Or just one. But I don't love her just for her arachnophobia (which I do find cute because I feel like a superhero when I squish it or throw it our the window) but mainly I love her for her great personality that can lighten up even the darkest rooms!

it really depends on the man and his personality, i am athletic so i would love somene who i could do these things with and do it 'ause they want to..... so a good mix between the 2 is prime. anyway most tomboys can handle theirs, na mean
