I often wondered, why for 5,000 years the hindus considered one animal as holy. Yes the cow. Was it because it was gentle ? or had huge expressive eyes ? or because some religous man said so ?

Then I heard a story that every hindu knows , but for some reason , not many non-hindus know ......... they say that when a child is born into the world, first the mother gives it its milk, then the cow gives it its milk ....... cows milk replaces mothers milk and hence for the human baby for the first 4 or 5 years of its life the cow is as important as its own mother ....... hence the cow is considered holy and eating its meat is like eating the meat of the mother ........... hence hindus will kill other animals , but out of respect for this one animal , they will never kill a cow ..........

Cows make good pets, who love unconditionally.

The fact that they give us milk during our growing years , is a nice reason to respect & love cows & to leave their meat alone.

However I doubt if Christians or Muslims (being male dominated religons) can understand the value of mothers milk ........ I dont expect anything better than a few crude jokes on this matter.

Hindus dont kill any animals hello......The scriptures strictly forbid hurting any being...

Hindus workship, monkeys, tigers, snakes, and many other animals . not just cows...

and milk was a major source of food in ancient india and many other civilizations....so usually such civilizations took them as divine...and workshipped them...

Its more like a mutual benifit....you care for cows and cows give you milk...

the egytpians also workship many animals...

so, mutual benifit, major source of food....

You found that common sense solid? i do not recognize what to say, i fairly do not. once you drink a bottle of water, do you throw out the bottle? How is that diverse from throwing out your mom? it is diverse because your mom isn't a bottle of water, a twin of she isn't a cow. it may well be immoral to kill and devour your mom because your mom is self conscious. compared to a cow or a bottle of water, your mom is favourite with that she is alive.

You should find a solution for this tradition of the Hindus. wrong tradition and belief. If you are near the Hindu country, you should brief them of the true faith in God or go to the Hindus and have them be indoctrinated with your doctrine if you think you are the right person to be followed
