In that vein, what does the ouroboros represent.? It's the snake in a circle eating its tail. To some Greeks it symbolized the cycle of life, the circle of time. Perhaps alpha and omega always were and always shall be in an unending circle. The word logos is a Greek word that is translated as "the word". It's used in John 1:1: " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
Revelations 22; 13: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Some animals are carnivorous and eat other animals for their meat in order to survive. Others are herbivores and don't. Human animals on the other hand have a choice; either to eat other sentient animals or not. We are perfectly capable of survival without eating other animals' flesh (talk to any vegetarian or vegan) and therefore some would argue that humans eating other animals is an unnecessary greed.
Whether this topic has anything whatsoever to do with 'god' is highly debatable: but lets ask "would god want us to eat his other animal creations?" - scripturally man has 'dominion over all things', however, individual morality/rationality/compassion might lead us to the opposite conclusion - i.e. if we don't need to kill and eat flesh, why should we? Why would a peaceful god want us to do that anyway? and so forth...

The usual "interconnectedness of nature and all life"; also, on a different level, the ingestion of another life symbolizes taking in that creature's strength and other attributes. For instance, if you hunt, kill and eat an antelope, you take in it's speed and agility. On the other hand, you can kill an animal and use it's parts for the same effect (ie-killing a tiger and wearing it's skin and claws to gain it's power). But, then again, that rabbit had FOUR feet! God is the God of all so to even begin to try to answer your question will never amount to all that is necessary.
