depends on the relationship.
my brother got his ex (mother of his son) beautiful roses, a nice card and a teddy bear and she threw them in his face and told him she hated him...
so I don't know...if she's not a biotch like some others...than ya go for it!
flowers can never hurt or even yummy chocolates!

it depends on the relationship that you have with your ex. something small like a card would be a nice gesture but be careful not to give her the wrong impression
