I think the reason why most of us remember our first loves- is because the experience was so NEW to us, & so INTENSE, it imprints itself into our memory & becomes the standard against which we base all our later romances. It's SPECIAL, and always will be- no matter how it eventually turned out...

I don't know, but I have only just been reminded today by listening to a song on the tv. Boys to men's End of the road. 16 years later and I am still reminded, even on Valentines day.

I think it is because first love hurts the most because it is a first time you will feel that kind of pain so you will have most memories about it

Sometimes it is the first and second and third... Sometimes we just have a huge heart. I will always love my ex loves but in an unconditional sort of way. Still that is love.
