I was delivering a fridge and when I was placing the same in the floor the lady that I was making the delivery started to scream, when I asked what was going on she pointed to the tv and said that her daughter was working as a secretary for some company. Later I met the lady and I asked her about her daughter and she told me that her daughter was off that day. 1 year later I was activated to serve in Iraq and so my cousin, thanks God I'm back home after I was shot in my right knee, but I can't tell the same about my cousin, he was killed there by a land mine.

I was sleeping in when the phone rang. I could not believe it, I was in shock, especially in the manner in which it was done.
And then I got angry, just WHO do they think they are to come into my Country & kill my people that were totally innocent? Beware of your neighbors, the reason I say this we had two neighbors move in, (I never did see a moving van or furniture going in) after a couple of weeks they started having people from all over the U.S. to visit, from Sudan & Middle Eastern in appearance. They were laughing at the U.S. for the way we handle certain situations. I could not figure out why? Then one day one of them were sitting on the steps reading his Koran.
With a smirk on his face, this was a little hard to swallow. The F.B.I. are now investigating them. Several have left this area, to where no one knows. I try not to be bias and know there are good & evil in every race. I catch myself watching any resemblances & what they are up-to. One day two young men(Middle eastern driving a Lexus with tags that said "DIPOLMAT IMMUNITY" dressed very nice and expenseive watches & jewlery.
They tried taking my handicapp parking spot before I could get to it. I don't think so!
I called the police & was informed they have not been notified of such & NO they have no right to take a handicap parking place. The police ask if I could keep them there, one ran into the store & were gone by the time P.D. got there. So Beware.

I was on a morning bike ride for exercise. I found out about the attack when I stopped at a convenience store to buy a newspaper. Another customer told me about the attack.

I cut my ride short, went directly home and turned on the TV. Back and forth between Fox News, CNN and CNBC. Shocking. I expected more than 10 thousand deaths.

I didn't lose anyone in the attacks, but I had friends who did.

My reaction was anger far more than fear. I wanted to hit back hard and quickly. I still feel that way.

I was drivng to school and didn't think much more of it than just another freak tragedy. Then my friend started telling me that 2 planes had crashed into the WTC and that hundreds of people had died. A little while later another friend said that the Pentagon had been hit and that another plane had crashed. The whole school (Calaveras College) kind of shut down after that.
After that I called an Air Force buddy and his wife said that he had been put on alert already. We huddled around televisions and radios the rest of the day and were all just in a state of shock.

As I drove home that afternoon all I remember saying is "The whole world is going to change after today."

I was a secretary working in the Military personnel flight and i heard it on the radio and broke into my bosses staff meeting and within 2 minues the base was closed down and blockers put up and m50 placed in the front of the base. it was so scary cause then they started showing the pictures on the news on the computer i mean it was unbelieveable. it was 820 or so for first one and then i had good friend working at the pentagon. well he was at the dentist and would have been killed where the plane ran into the pentagon. his wife saw part of the building go up in smoke. all were ok i knew it was horrible and very scary. the base was closed down for mos and we had to show our ids and very secure then to get on base but it was good for us to realize we're not indespensable. we have to learn to not trust those countries and those peope coming into our cruntry they did come and we did have the names and faces already.
