Well, at this point it looks like the Clippers and Nuggets will grab 'em in the West, and the Heat and Magic will grab them in the East. The Clippers would have a good shot in the East, but they just aren't going to beat Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, or Utah. The Nuggets don't have a true point guard, and that could be trouble with them playing Phoenix or Dallas in the first round. AI and Melo don't work too well together. The Heat are too old with Shaq, Payton, Walker, and Posey, though D-Wade is brilliant. The Magic only have one star (Dwight Howard) and no one else is really that good.

i think it will be denver in the 7th and new orleans in the 8th. i think the clippers have been a huge disappointment and will fade away. the kings suck. KG cant do it alone. and the warriors are still very young and inexperienced and they just have had too many injuries and baron davis just had knee surgery and jrich has been out for a long time, so i say that hurts their playoff chances. new orleans has CP3 and david west back. and chandler is a monster on the boards. i dont think NO can beat dallas and denver doesnt have good defense and phx will run over them.

i'll adress the east cause i'm from here and so is my team. but, it might just be the magic and the nets. depending on how the nets finish the season. i think that just cause your an underdog doesn't mean you don't have a chance. look at chicago miami last year. for a stretch of games, the bulls took it to the heat. so, i say it comes down to who plays better defense (i don't care what superstar they have), and who wants it more

eh... the bottom two seeds are what i like to call "first round fill-ins" meaning that they are only there for the top seeds to beat and get to the next round. in reality, the top seeds are there for a reason so i highly doubt 7th and 8th teams can even get farther than the second round at most.
