Because of
1) Cinema which promotes sex in the name of love
2) Girls or women folk by their modern dress, they reveal themselves and appeal to menfolk and invite troubles
3) spread of vulgar and unwanted sex in the name of fashion and culture.
4) Advertisement media using vulgar pose and picture of women for sale and publicity of any product and services with or with out any relevance.
For e.g ladies promote cigarette for its flavour etc
5)Degradation of morality in general.

What's good for the Good is good for the gander. People let this sh*t get out of hand. Years ago when people said the wrong thing to the opposite sex they were just ostracized or they just let it go. Now it has to go through litigation I can understand if the harassment is on going but people will go to court over one comment.

It's all the magic of Internet as it contains all such items which creates violation in society as well as it is a mixed version of cinema, photography, clips and abusing elements which really creates a mental disorder and led to the violation...

I go with the answer of maninmnmn.... yes this sexual harreshment is purely due exposing girls.. in media in wrong manner.... so it will be continue ever... unless media reduce the wrong exposure of girls...

It was always there and its not better now..
its just that now girls have the guts to come out in open and oppose(kudos to them)..Earlier it happened in wraps and girls were unable to oppose it..
