Like how many years would it take? I was thinking I would go to school there, and then get a job there and then if I like it live there. I would want to be a dual citizen so I can go back and forth as I choose.

Rillifane, I wouldn't say that is true, there are many people that are dual citizens of both countries. I have met some.

well to be a american Citizen takes about 5 years, not including getting a green card, which it can take only few years or in many cases a lot of years and a lot of money, or you can always marry a citizen and have a green card in 6 month.

nicely both international places have very diverse immigration guidelines & many routes to everlasting residency yet i imagine it would truthfully take a lot less time for an American citizen to grow to be a Canadian citizen through how the equipment works there than vice versa. Now on the project itself i don't think of which will be measured because the Canadians use a factors-depending equipment even as the U. S. does no longer.

Canadians are American, North American. It's a safe bet they are as horrified by the Bush administration as the rest the Americans around the world. Come to think of it, isn't Mexico in North America? That means the wall W is scamming 25 billion of our tax dollars for is designed to keep "Americans" out of the United States. If it keeps Chavez south of the boarder it would have been worth it, only real live voting Americans have the duty to lampoon our elected officials. We get jealous when rank amateurs try to do it. It was obvious all those high grade South American coco products destroyed Chavez's nasal passages and ruined his sense of smell. That was blood you were smelling not sulfur, W reeks of it. Leave the Bush slamming to liberals and terrorists, you little OPEC wanna be. W should have froze all your Citgo assets and forced you to go hunting with Cheney.

As for Canadians who want to become U.S. citizens, it's real easy, but why would you want to wear an international terrorist target like that around when all you have to do is flash you drivers license at the bridge and drive in. It's not like your all Bob Probert's with extra bulges in your jeans. We love Canadians over here, you guys are almost like part of the family.

I imagine it would be reasonably easy. Canadians are liked by US citizens. Their education level is good and they already understand english which is a huge advantage for mixing into the population.

Good Luck!

The flaw in your plan is that you cannot become a citizen of the United States and retain your Canadian citizenship.

Individuals who become naturalized citizens of the USA are generally required to renounce their former nationality.
