I need to redo my bath rm walls &, I was wondering if I have to sand them befor I put up that wall paper of brown craft paper. The texure is sparce.

craft paper for the walls??? Well in any case you need to clean the walls and primer to remove the sheen of the old paint. They make paints that are recommended for wallpaper adhesion.

Yes you do. You only need to lightly sand them, or you could use" Liquid sandpaper" but you'll have to rince that off really well. You also need to use a wallpaper sizing before you put your paper up. That prepares your wall for the paper.It'll adhere better that way.Bye

What ever you use to paint, it is improtant to remove the old paint/paper from the walls. This is important for bathrooms as
the walls are exposed to water. (mild dew)

You should use a good quality glossy paint to protect from the mild dew. I dont prefer wall paper in this area.
