I need to have a BLOOD TEST done, not a urine test.. as for those have never worked for me. I need to know which one (Birthright or Planned Parenthood) will do a blood test (draw the blood for results!) and the pricing and your personal preference would also be helpful please. And I live in MIssouri if it helps.

Birthright in my state did urine test because of the cost to them. Your state may have more funds.

I liked Planned Parenthood because I was given more information with my first son and they helped me find a high risk OB GYN. ( I weighed 93 pounds at 5ft 8..and was a teen.,,By the way to the person that said they do abortions..yes they do but they did not say one thing to me about having one. ) And I got a blood test and exam for under $50

I used to live in Missouri and have been to Birthright before and they did a urine test on me and it was free, I am not sure about blood tests I would call and ask.

Planned Parenthood is one of the most trusted name in women's healthcare. They will provide you accurate and up to date information. I am not sure if they do blood test for pregnancy but it is worth a try. I used to live in Missouri and I have been to a few of the Planned Parenthoods there. They are nice, easy to talk to, and honestly there to help you. You can find the nearest location on their website at www.plannedparenthood.org.

Also, I can almost guarentee you that Birthrite will not offer blood tests because they are NOT A MEDICAL FACILITY. They are there to "help" women who are faced with unplanned pregnancies but in all reality provide inaccurate information on abortion, family planning, and pregnancy. Good luck!

i had a pregnancy test at birthright, but it was a urine one. i have never heard of them doing blood tests. i believe you would have to go 2 family planning or a doctor 2 get a blood test. family planning will do them.

Just so you know, the blood tests are not necissarily more reliable than a urine test for pregnancy. I had a blood test done that came out negative and the very next day, a home test that was positive!

I have gone to planned parenthood for blood tests and my sister has had her yearly exam with them, so I can recomend them as a good women's care facility... however, due to ignortant and judgemental twits like the one answering earlier, there is a non-zero chance that you wil be harrassed as you enter. The ones in my area also put in some security measures after a shooting several years ago which can make a person feel a little weird. (Who wants to go through a metal detector to see their doctor.)

Overall, if you have the confidence to blow off picketing morons, planned parenthood is definitly a good bet.

No, they do no longer look to be comparable. I even have on no account set foot in a deliberate Parenthood facility, yet used contraceptives for some years. There are any type of components for contraceptives. deliberate Parenthood is in basic terms a company, and in basic terms one resource. relatives making plans covers any type of tactics to beginning administration, which includes contraceptives.

I'd stay away from 'Birthright,' for ethical reasons.

Not saying that you're going to have an abortion, but. Might as well stick with the one that's not in the business of lying to scared girls. See also:

"Some crisis pregnancy centers have come under criticism for portraying themselves as "medical facilities" when they do not have professional licensing from local or state health departments. Without licenses, these centers cannot provide well-woman exams, prenatal care or medical treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, nor can they provide prescriptions or refills for contraceptives."

Hardly any place will do a blood test until you've gotten a positive urine test.
