I'm the same way. I'm up so much later after I eat dinner so I'm hungry late at night. I'm snacking on a Butterfinger bar right now and I'll probably raid the fridge in a little bit, lol

maybe its the only time you have to really eat it and enjoy it? I think there's nothing better than having a full on meal and actually being able to sit down and savor it.... I can only do that at night, and I'm not a big girl either, LOL!

Food seems to be important to you and at night you're not so busy, preoccupied with daily life-job,tasks to do, kids, husband or wife etc so thoughts of food creep in more easily BUT you can shot off-pick up a book and read , get a hobby like knitting, needlepoint, painting -whater will occupy you keep you busy mentallyfor by filling your mind with other interests these thoughts of food will lose diminish, be crowded out. Thoughts of foods can be overpowering that can test even the strongest will so if you do not want to give in and often ends in binging and then guilt/shame-must occupy yourself mentally so food thoughts are crowded out no place left for them. You can een write a sort of Mantra like Go away,Not wanted here,Get Out,out of my mind. I control not you,I decide not you Go away for not wanted here if others near you can say in your head silently but if necessary say out loud for the object here is to not give in -not to be polite and not bother anyone else.If those around you care they will support you and can even join in-for power in Numbers. If they gripe and offer no support do you want them around you. Wish you luck

Cos when you're at work or school, your food eating times are structured you are doing stuff to keep your mind busy. When you get home and have nothing to do but relax, you mind turns to food.
Man, do I love food.

Because you use your energy reserves during the day and your body craves food....I get sweet tooth attacks at night...gosh like right now??? I didn't really go to the store for V-day candy yet...but all this V-day talk made me crave more...when I get there I will be like, ehhhh not want it as much.

You're not alone...lots of people are asking questions about food tonight, including me.
It's like that chocolate cake in your fridge is easier to hear calling in night's silence. Mmm...
