When trying to print a picture on glossy paper, which side faces up in the printer??????????????

It depends. If you load the paper in the back, and it just slides through, the gloss goes up. If you load it in the front, the gloss goes down, because it gets flipped over during the printing process. If you want to know for sure, get a sharpie and write "this side up" on a blank piece of paper, put thet in your printer with the side you wrote on up, and print a few lines of text on it.

That will depend on your particular printer model!!!!

Some printers "flip" the paper when it prints....


Simple test... take a sheet of paper, put a mark, X or something and place the mark FACING UP in your printer. Then print something out to see if your printer prints on the marked side or *if* it "flips" the paper.


I have a Canon printer which "flips" the paper but one of my HP printers does not.......
