Yes, it is possible, if you have a Hard Drive, which you can buy for about $100.00 USD.
If you plan on playing original Xbox games on your 360 or xbox live on your 360, plan on getting the HDD. But, if you are just going to play games that won't take up that much space to save things to, then the memory card is for you.
But, without either of these, it is not possible.

definite you may not save to the VERY restricted area of reminiscence on the console. so purchase a hardrive, or in case you have not offered the arcade yet purchase a pro its a lot less expensive than paying for a arcade then a hardrive

yeah you can if you bought the bundle pack (not the core system) it would come with a 20 GB hard drive i think.... well if you don't have one then i guess you need to buy one
