I've been using Palm OS handhelds for several years now, and in my experience, crashes and freezes usually come from 3rd party software conflicts. You might try uninstalling all the extra programs you've put on your Treo to see if that helps. If it does, try reinstalling your programs one at a time to see which one makes it start freezing again.

Either way, sorry to hear about your bad luck. Palms are handy devices to have when they work properly.

The best place to go is gonna be treocentral.com and submit a thread in the Treo 700p Hardware thread about EXACTLY what is happening. I just bought a 750, and it works great...and then I installed LightWav2 and it crashed all the time. It may be third party stuff but even still, the people that cruise these forums know more about Treo's than anyone that will see your question here. Good luck, trust me its a good phone!

Another thing you can do is perform a hard reset, then put all of your 3rd party stuff on an SD card. That got my TX to stop crashing!

I have a 650. This is my fourth in two years. I understand the failure rate is over 50%.
