Hi there. The world does not have one definitive problem. In my opinion there are are a number of negative issues which contribute to hindering our progress, and are the causes of war. For example: Unfair distribution of wealth, poverty, poor environmental habits, ignorance, intolerance, and extremists in religion.

Its human nature to protect your own interests.
