There are plenty of homeless across the country and the shelters are usually full. The cold in many places are killer especially at night when the temperature dip way down. Can you suggest ways to help those souls on the street stay warm?

My own suggestion would be to buy and collect donated sleeping blankets. What other ideas do you have to share?

take to the streets with food, hats, gloves, and blankets. remember, Christ taught, "when you do this for the least of my brothers, you do it for Me."

blanket does help. i heard somehow from somebody that news paper or any paper as long as it's dry it will serve as an insulation.i think it make sense so cold air will not pass through the body. and how about trying to organise a group and have some fund raising so probably that money or any donations can start something good, like blankets or umbrella and hopefully eventually u can finance a home if u can save that enough money. i sound so childish but that's the most simple, realistic stuff i can think....

I would send out units of soldiers collecting all the homeless people/souls for so integrating them into some sort of military life in comfortable barracks for winter.

But this would not be all, because then I would immediately set clever soldiers to interviewing each and everyone of the homeless souls to learn what they wanted from contingent life and so to organize groups of those homeless souls that as far as possible should work with what has been the main but unattended dream in their life.

Well if you have a hug building then you can give them a place to stay... but since that is never the case then I myself have plenty of jackets that I give away each year to homeless shelters in order to help prevent the death of them out in the cold, because like i know tonight that one of the thick rain coats that i gave away is helping some one in the 25 degree temp with rain going on outside.

Only a political and social revolution bringing the wealth or rich people, by gift or by force to look after health education and accommodation of the poor.

As a stop gap measure the Japanese use big boxes near the Tokyo Airport. People, families even, make adequate homes of these boxes. At least they're less likely to die.

America Is the land of the needy.

they all know where he shelters are. they always have some excuse for not going there.there is a number you can call when you see somebody outside in the cold. it is not a good idea to approach them yourself. just call that number .

If you were very trusting you could allow them to stay in your garage.
