They are a sorry excuse for a hockey team because of one bad season? They would be in the playoffs if they played this way all year. They had a lot of injuries in the beginning of the season. They just need to keep Forsberg and sign some good free agents and they will be a contender next season. Philadelphia sport fans are the best in the world. Go Flyers!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Finally getting a point from the Pens and slaughtering Detroit? Yes, I would say that they would be in the playoffs if they played like this all season. The problem is that they aren't consistant enough to do that. Remember when the beat the Ducks? And then didn't do much after that? Everyone is playing for a job next year which is why they are on top of their game these days....

Definately, the way Nittymaki played last year was awesome. The poor start I think rattled his confidence. Lets not forget that he was injured in pre-season and is playing injured. They should've had those meetings with Forestburg two months ago as well, he seems to have it a little more together as of late. Philly has a great team and huge under achievers, the way they are playing is how they shoul have all year.

Although 2 wins in a row is a remarkable achievement for the Flyers,
I'll reserve my opinion until they win as many as they lost in a row to decide on what to wear to the Stanley Cup Parade down Broad Street

does a tree make a noise when it falls when no one is around to hear? the flyers depended too much on forsberg and got lazy, they could have played like this much earlier, nitty is great if he gets some help on d

Well if they had been playing like that from early in the year they would be in the race. Then the whole East would be "in play."

No, cause they'd still be a sorry excuse for a hockey team. I hate Philly, the teams, the people, and cheese steaks. Sabres *****!
