What are your thoughts about him ?

Yes, I've read a few of his pieces (a friend lives in Las Vegas where some of his stuff appears). I'm not a big fan of his work or his "journalistic" style.

He is not objective enough, even for an editorial opinion writer. You need to be able to get your point across without clubbing your reader over the head with it, which is what I feel when reading his stuff.

His writing becomes too strident at times, too, dare I say it, emotional. Which ticks off the average reader, rather than getting them to listen to what he has to say, and then to agree with him.

He often jams so much into one piece that is difficult for even an interested reader to fully "hear" what he's saying, besides ranting.

He is an editor, I understand, but seems to need one, in my opinion.
