Are you freaking kidding me? Whats NOT good about turning 18. You are treated like an adult, but still can act like a kid. You can be a full time student (milk this as LONG as you can- TRUST ME). You can still get a part time job at a water park or a pizzaria and no one will question your decision. You can sleep until noon, with little consequence. You can take bong tokes at 10 a.m., veg out and do it again at 3. You can date as many people as you want as often as you want and you can have multiple sexual partners. You can say stupid things and people will say "he/she is only 18- its OK". You still enjoy lifes "little pleasures" like going to a concert. Christmas still excites you. You think you have it all figured out and actually really know nothing. You will wake up one day and be 36 and cry for a week and long for the day when you were 18 again.
When you are 18, you experience something new EVERYDAY. When you are 36, every day is like the last.
Embrase this time. Harness this time. It will be over in a blink of an eye.

Umm, you could have been forced to register for the draft if you were a boy. You can now buy cigarettes if you want, or cross the border into Canada and drink legally there. Oh what fun! >;)
And just think, in 47 more years you'll be eligible to get a 10% discount in many restaurants.

It is the wost day of you life... Your parents can kick you out, if you get in trouble then there are real consequences, if you are dating some one not yet 18 then you could go to jail for that, if you get caught drinking here in america then you get a nice drunk in public and maybe under age possession, You actually have to take responsiblity for yourself and pay for so much shite that you never had to pay for before. Oh and high school is almost over and well let me tell you that real life sucks. Other than that YAY you can legally get lung cancer and waste money on the lottery

Well, in the USA, it makes you a legal adult. You now can move out of your parents and get your own place with or without their permission. You can purchase cigarettes, adult movies and magazines. You can get into non alcoholic strip clubs and dance clubs. You can own a car or a house and have it in your name. You can vote, legally have sex with anyone over 18 without parents consent, get a credit card w/out parent, get a bank account w/out parent, legally travel any state w/out parent permission, and get into a non-alcoholic casino.

You can buy your own smokes instead of having your over-18 friends buy them for you.
You can also vote and go die in war.
