My Boyfriend's ex cheated on him so he took the ring back. He is in the service and is away, he wants me to sell it and a pair of diamond earrings that he got her so he can pay some bill off. I am taking care of some of his finances, but it feels a little weird.

Here's a better idea. Have the gold wedding band from your ex melted down and reforged and reworked into a new ring. Have your new boyfriend make up the design and add gold of his own to it. Then it will be a completely new ring designed by the new man in your life.

Yeah I would totally say no to that. Tell him to give it back to her and to grow up. She probably didn't even cheat on him. That just something hes probably just saying.
This is a little weird I guess because I have been in this same situation. My ex took my wedding ring even though I paid for it. This sounds like this is something he would totally to.
How tacky is it when he ask you to sell it . What a cheap ***.
This so sounds like my ex. As weird as it sounds try not to get involved. Let him take care of his buissness. If he was smart suggest a pawn shop.( My ex is in the navy)

Make sure you get a fair price for their value. have them appraised at 3 different places to get an idea what they are worth. Then let him know what they appraise at. You might be better off just keeping them for yourself as those diamonds can be traded in on larger diamonds should you choose to marry this dude.
You might just find out how much the bill is and offer to pay it off and keep the rings and ear rings if they are worth more than what he owes.

Look ,check this out ,dont scoop your self to that level, what ever he says she did or didnt do thats his and hers problem,your a woman and you shouldnt be taking care of him,Ive been there and back ,believe girl it aint worth the pain he used her and more than likely he is using you!dont learn the hard way like me!I am still hurting and it is so hard!please take my advise he sounds like a total womaniser!!you will see later on in the future if you renmain with him wich more than likely you will .Its ok some of us have to learn the hard way.You live and you learn ,I hope you love your self more than I did .Good luck!

Well, he asked you, did'nt he? Why should you feel weird about that? Of course you can also just tell him the truth about how you feel and wait till he returns and ask him to do it himself.

I would send themm to him and let him handle that stuff. It's too personal for you to do it.
Plus, if there is doubt of ownership, you don't want to be in the middle.

You should tell him your not comfortable doing this and would rather he did it himself or had his family do it.
