There are people out there that don't like to lose (which is really sad). If this happens to you, and if you can, ask them if they will take their turn. If nothing happens, then, instead of forfeiting, just shut the game screen down.

Admittedly, you will lose any points you may have gained, but so will they and its jsut as easy to start a new game.

Next time they try to play against you, warn them that if it happens again you will do the same thing, and block them if need be.

At first glance I thought this was a philosphy question!
How ever the answer remains the same.

Your opponent is forcing your hand and using an unethical tatic.
It's a controlling move.
It could be that you are down to your last option and YOU are stalling and not accepting defeat.

Make the best move and accept the outcome. (hope ya win!)

Wait it out. Camp. Start some ramen, because you're in for a game of stamina, and only ramen has that level of fuel. And like the answer above mine, start talking IN ALL CAPS. Yes, even if they're physically next to you.

yes. set a time limit on game. Their clock runs out, they lose. If it's chess don't grant an undo on a move. I did that one time and I lost even though it was my opponents turn to move and their clock ran out. Don't know how that happened. Oh well, it's just a game.
