why is it almost a universal truth that if you are eating or drinking anything red or purple it always ends up on your shirt. This has been happening to me since I was a kid and it keeps happening over and over and over again. Is the something inherient in the molecules of red and purple things that is attracted to clothing??

It's a Murphy's Law: Light colored dirt is attracted to dark colored clothing, while dark colored dirt is attracted to light colored clothing.

Best way to try and counter the red and purple attraction problem, is to try and wear only dark colored clothing when eating and/or drinking red and/or purple colors.
