And start standing up to liberals please? These people are going to get us destroyed because the REAL American's aren't doing anything to stop them. We're slowly beginning to realize just how much trouble their getting us into, but pretty soon it's going to catch up to us in a not-so-pretty way.
If you're liberal, PLEASE don't take this as a knock. I haven't called you any names or what have you. What I am saying though is that liberals can't think outside the box. They hate Bush so they refuse to be open-minded; which is ironic. Not all liberals are this way, I understand and won't characterize the ENTIRE bunch; only the majority.
My question is to please, PLEASE support our troops and allow us to defeat the insurgents who want nothing more than for American's to die; INCLUDING YOU LIBERALS! If we do pull out of Iraq, DOES NOT MEAN THE WAR IS OVER. It's just over, over there. If we do give up, be prepared. Well armed and prepared. Because nothing will stop them.

Ooh, sorry, the premise of the question is incorrect.
The correct premise is that the majority of Americans, liberal and conservative, are opposed to the Iraq War and recognize the deceptions that led to U.S. involvement.
We would also have accepted that conservative Republican Senators Sam Brownback and Chuck Hegel are among the leaders in the Senate opposing any escalation.
Thanks for playing, though - you've been a delightful contestant. We have a lovely parting gift for you as soon as you log off Yahoo! Answers so you can study up on the issue for next time.

why dou you believe that one political party can make or break America? Doesnt it annoy you that the only options for iraq presented by politicians are "stay the course" or "cut and run." Doesnt it annoy you that complex problems like terrorism and immigration are generalized and packaged into slogans and catch phrases? Your calling liberals closed minded? Is president bush open minded? Do most politicians seem open minded to you? Cant you see that republicans and democrats have no idea what to do about iraq? There is no fixing iraq. president bush will never pull the troops out no matter how bad it gets because he has to cover his ***. In the future, the United States will shamefully withdraw from iraq. president bush will say that it aint his fault, he did the best he could, whats his face messed up, not me. Just watch. Arent you tired of all this real american and anti american bullshit. Its so fashionable to call someone anti american. Usually thats as far as some debates go. isnt it sacry that people with so much power have such shallow views on problems that affect millins of people?Bill o reilly likes to ask "do you want america to win in iraq". Has anybody ever said no, I would like americans to die and the civil war to rage on? Do you believe that just saying that you support the troops will "allow us to defeat the insurgents".

Apathy not any politics are the hurt you feel. We are getting numb to the body count and out of touch with what is the real issue. It is not our fault no one is paining the picture and the mayhem goes on. I want some one to be clear about the cause of the current problems. I want the Identity of the fanatics that have killed my soldiers. I am tired of being shot and a few killed before I can do my job as a soldier. Who can you trust in this government to put the money and weapons in the right hands. Support I do not know but send me the orders to win. You get what I am saying it is the same failed policies as we had in Viet Nam. Make them stand up and be counted.

America has never been without her enemies. And, every enemy that we have ever had-- was a threat. We will never be without our enemies-- and they will always be a threat.. So, if we are engaging in war simply because we have enemies--- we will always be at war !!! And, war never makes friends !! War only increases the number of people aligned against you !! War is a self defeating entity !!
The very premise that "we have to beat them here to keep them from being there" just does not fly----because they are everywhere--- and we would have to take this thing literally everywhere to defeat them --- in all probability at least 14 seperate nations in all !!! So, if we are to "defeat them in a war" we have to declare World War---- and that won't fly because we can not DO a World War--- the rest of the world will not stand for it---and it would create only that many more nations that would stand up against us !!!
All of this being said--- get your stuff together for the widening OF this thing soon---- we WILL be in Iran before Summer !! And, God help us all--- it is not going to be pretty !! We have mad men at the helm !! They are convinced that death and destruction is the only way to win friends and influence people !!

It's difficult for me to not take this as a knock when you say that liberals, of which I generally consider myself one (I'm really more moderate, but hey.), are destroying America. I understand and respect that you're not characterizing the whole bunch of us, but...
At any rate, I'm not sure I know of anyone (who is intelligent and/or has earned a modicum of my respect) who does not support our troops overseas. I have a great deal of respect for their actions, because it is something that I know I could never do; I simply don't have the guts to go overseas in a conflict-ridden area such as Iraq. That said, I have zero respect for those soldiers who participated in the "festivities" at Abu Ghraib prison - located in Iraq, it is, bar none, the most horrific display of human degradation I have ever seen in my life. Feel free to look it up on wikipedia if you like. If you aren't horrified by the pictures that you'll see, then I'd suggest therapy. I'll warn you guys, too, if that preface - it is extremely graphic and beyond disgusting.
I'm not sure it's that I don't support aiding Iraqi citizens who have been brutalized by the Hussein regime; it's that I despise the manner in which we have gone about it.

No one has yet proofed to me that 9-11 was executed by foreign terrorists. And there has not been any other attacks. Don't you find that quite strange? Seeing as how(if 9-11 was an attack by the '19') Cheney was in charge of NORAD that day...and told the military to stand down. That's just one small point. The wars over there are illegal. I'm ready for a war over here. But I'm afraid it won't be with outside terrorists......but I'm ready.

This is one of the best stated truths I've seen on here for a long time! I agree with you all the way. It's true, they've said all along that they will fight us over there or on our soil. Since we have cells of them right in our own country they are just waiting it out.
Texas Rose is a good example of what we're dealing with.
