Ok, this has been bugging me. I know its too late to do anything about it, but Im now realizing that this could of been racism. A year and a half ago, I had this teacher. I was always bad in his class... he did not even send me out to the pricipals office... until he found out [half way through the year] that I had black in me. We had 3 caucasions in the class room. He would always send more than 3/4 of the classroom out. Now, I don't understand this. Would this be considered racism?? Or do you think he just got tired of me?? The thing is, the minute he found out that i had black in me, he sent me to the office for nothing. The vice pricipal [which btw she was African American] couldn't stand him. She almost fired him cause he sent 15 kids out within 2 hours. Please help me process if this is racisim or not. Thanks so much
Ps... I don't understand why he would come to our school [where most of the school is African Amrican] if he were racist.. =]

Yes your teacher is very prejudiced.
I have also had a prejudiced teacher in high school ( My chemistry teacher) and what do you know??? I happened to be th only black student in her class. :) great!
I tried not to let it get to me.... and I made sure I studied extra hard.
Why he would choose to teach in your school is something find fascinating....
well, he probably just wanted to feel superior to you guys. I guess he felt really frustrated when he realised that you guys werent any different from any other kids :)

I think he just got tired of you. If you were always bad in his class I don't see that he suddenly sent you to the office "for nothing". And how did he find out halfway thru the year that you have black in you? If that's your photo, it wouldn't take anyone a year to figure that out unless they're faceblind or something.
Anyhow, what does it matter? Is he your teacher now? Probably not, if it's a year and a half ago. Let it go and focus on doing well in school now. Quit being bad in class, you are there to learn, not to be bad. If you keep being bad in class you are making it hard on yourself and everyone else, to learn. And ignorance promotes racism.
If you expect other people to be racist and you look for it, you will find more of it. Just like when a person is pregnant they see more pregnant people around, and when a person is going thru a breakup there seems to be nothing but couples everywhere. Or if you're thinking of getting a certain kind of car, suddenly it seems that lots of other people have that kind of car. Not that there really is, but that there seems to be more of whatever you're paying attention to.

if that's your photo on here you are obviously African American. I find it hard to believe he had to 'find out'. Sounds like he is just very strict on everyone. The vice principal doesn't like him because he is making her job harder. Did he send the white kids out to the principal's office also? You admit you were bad in class, so I doubt you were sent out for nothing.
When I first read this I thought it was about weather, but it's whether.

Racist. Plain and simple. You didnt do anything different, only difference was the attitude towards you, now you're one of those good for nothing nigas in his eyes. Pretty much, that's how the "justice" system functions here. Whites get away with a lot more crap.

Dude, if it took him halfway through the year to realize you have black in you, then he's obviously a complete moron to begin with. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

sounds to me like he might have been racist. I would say he just got tired of you, but not if he sent you out as soon as he found out you were multiracial.
