It's impossible to get rid of them permanently if it's hereditary (it probably is). I have them some, and I use a concealer stick that is slightly lighter than my natural skin tone, it really brightens them up!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Ok this is what worked for me. After I had my youngest daughter I had dark circles under my eyes. I cut up a cold cucumber and placed the on both eyes. While laying back in a chair listen to music. About 15 minutes the dark circles was gone and my skin there was so smooth.. I do it know once a week.. I love it.. Plus it is a GREAT way to relax and get away for awhile. Hope this helps. Take Care

I own and operate an Herb store. I see this often. It is caused by kidneys. Try drinking more cranberry juice a day or is you are unable to tolerat this try the cranberry pills 3 times a day. In less than a month the dark circles will be gone. ALso, are you sleeping a minimun of 6 hours a night ? Try it. Let me know. Sharon Farris-Thornton

Get a foundation that is a few tints pinker than your natural skin color and lightly apply around the eyes. If you are very pale skinned try to keep with a foundation that is oil free. You can buy it cheap at a dollar store.

Teabags are a good aid to dark circles under your eyes. Just put one in warm water (not too warm or you'll burn your skin) and place it on your circles for five minutes to ten minutes.

Take a nap, don't use too much makeup, Only if it gets intense should you use those anti aging anti rinkle creams. But that takes weeks for it to completely be gone.
