Autotrader only goes back to 81 and doesn't let you specify engine options and whatnot? I'm looking for the 81 body style but with a cowled hood, I believe that was the vette with a supercharger right?

No! It was not produced with a supercharger but did have the Gymhanna suspension PKG .In 1989 they came out with the Calloway Vette with twin turbos 189 mph top end. All you could get out of an "81"as 190 hp (an Olds 98 1989 model had 230 hp on a v6)

Try Bud's Chevrolet in St. Mary's Ohio. They get top shelf Corvette trades. To answer your question about factory installed superchargers I'm positive it never happened.

Do yourself a favor and try the rdio and kick the tires. Don't know of a super charged corvette (different that injected)
