I teach Spanish and French. I have my students work in groups to sell either a product or a service. They then get Euros to purchase and bargain with.

They can make food (brownies, cookies, etc.) or have a shoe cleaning service (Windex and paper towels for tennis shoes). Finger nail painting (be careful with the fumes; you may need to put them near a window or not allow it at all). Some kids make bookmarks or beaded bracelets.

Instead of using Euros you can explain that everything must be done in trade.
