My personal answer is that you go for a simple job that you know how to do and are interested in...
If you like to be with animals then get a job at a pet store or a vet office
If you like to paint then ask a painter
If you want to work with the elderly then work at a nursing home
the list goes on
be sure to remember that everything you did as a kid like mowing lawns in the neighbourhood, scouting, helping at church and other volunteering jobs will go towards your resume. It may sound silly but it does work to get you that first job.

a driving range(golf) trust me dude its awsome, not hard at all, and the people that work there are usually cool, try it out im serious haha
