Yes and neither.
Jimmy Carter was an honest politician and a good Christian, not a very good president but a good and true Christian.
GW Bush is a hypocrite and a no good lying fool.

Yes I think you can be an honest politician and a good Christian. The other as far as George Bush goes, is between him and his maker.

Of course an honest politician can be a good Christian. The only word in the sentence that doesn't quite fit in is politician. Bush would be a politician and I think a different adjective than honest would be more suiting.

I have no idea what the man (yes just a man) really believes, but by his actions he seems interesting more in securing America's advantage over others by violence than by honest diplomacy....so, to reconcile the chasm between the two sides, he must actually believes his crap, or he is really using Christianity like many i know, to fit within a certain culture for political gain...he is either a religious nut or a capitalist cynic.
NEITHER

You see dude,a Christian is a person who realizes they
believe & need God,not the other way around,ok?
We know we are not God,& that God doesn't need us,but
we need him. Also,a christian is someone who admits they
sin too,but don't feel right about doing it,& are sorry when
they do. It does NOT mean that we don't sin.
We freely admit that we do. None of us claim to have the
powers that God has,so yes,he can be a good President
and be a christian. At least he's not a coward & doesn't
side with our enemies,amen.

First off, he is not a Christian by the definition I was raised with. I watched this Frontline show
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jesus/view/
and nowhere can it be found that he has ever been baptized.
Ok with that said, and once again from my definition of Christian, nothing the man has done is Christian-like... in my eyes.
