I am a big fan of MJB since "What's the 411"...how is she able to pull new fans and keep the "old" ones coming back for more?

It's because of the fact that her songs are about the strange things that happen in our lives as well as the basic things. People really respect the reality in her music.

I respect your love for Mary J. Blige. But I don't particularly care for her for one reason. Her songs are always so depressing. Perhaps she had a hard life, but why dwell on it. She just seems to be whining on all her tracks to me. I can't listen to her. So to answer your question, I'm not sure. Maybe because she is pretty.

She is awesome.. she has the most beautiful voice.. I love her song "One" with Bono... she will always be my fav and may her music always be good.... Keep Up Mary...
