My computer sometimes crashes when i try to play world of warcraft......its probably because of the graphics card.I also downloaded and installed WOW off the website so instead of the graphics card being the problem could be because of an online installation bug type of thing?

I am a computer salesmen at Fry's, yes you can it has a PCI slot but it says it not available. If you have something on that PCI slot you dont need remove it and install a PCI Video Card. If its a dial up modem and you have high speed internet then your okay. Make sure you get a video card that can plug into that connection. I tried checking to see how many watts your power suply was but I couldn't find it. Open up the side of the computer and check the left corner of the computer, to see how big your power supply is. Try to get atleast a 256MB video card.

Below is a direct link to hp specs for your computer.

Yes, but you probably can't install one that is good enough to play WOW.

You'll notice that on the specs on the hp website ( http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00581384&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1825172&lang=en ) you have 1 PCI slot and it isn't available. While I don't know what HP has in your PCI slot, most modern graphics cards are PCI-E (PCI- Express). PCI-E is not backwards compatible with PCI. Prior to PCI-E the standard was AGP. It is still possible to find some decent AGP cards, but you don't have a slot for that either.

You could buy a geforce 2 MX 64MB PCI for ~$50 if you can do without what happens to be in the PCI slot. Even then you'd only be around the minimum required system specs for graphics cards for WOW and you probably wouldn't enjoy it that much. Additionally, if you have an LCD monitor that graphics card probably wouldn't be powerful enough to run WOW at your LCD's native resolution, so it'd look blurry. AND I don't know the dimensions inside your case so it might not fit in there since you have a small case.

According to the link the 1st reply shows you, there is only 1 ONE PCI (NOT PCI-e) slot on your motherboard and it's NOT available. Which means HP has installed something in that slot already. Most likely a modem.

The best you can hope for in a PCI graphics card is the 6200 series that uses the NVidia GPU. (IF( it is a modem and *IF* you can do without it.

Also the link below shows your motherboard in detail

IDK but iamma guess your graphic card is built into the motherboard. . and just install the graphic card to which ever slot that fits. Disable the onboard graphic card in bios. and use the new one
