Depends on the persons house.at a few of my friends we take off our shoes but other ppls homes we leave em on.

I take them off. Actually, I never wear shoes or socks if I don't have to. Yes, my feet are still in good shape. They'd better be. I have to set the example having a degree in cosmetology. Besides, how would that look if my feet were nasty? lol -L

I personally ask the homeowner if he/she would like me to take my shoes off. If they don't wear shoes in he house, I always take mine off- socks or no (even if I am given permission to keep my footwear on).

I take them off if the host asks me to. My daughter-in-law is Chinese and we ALWAYS take off our shoes at their house. She gets offended if we forget to do it. Socks or no socks you better remember next time to wear them, lol

Take them off even if i am not wearing socks dont want to dirty the carpet
We also play games and the loser has to remove their sock and lick their bare feet

I never wear socks.....and always take off my shoes. It's just rude not too. Just make sure you have cute nailpolish on

I like to wear the shoes I came in. I have a sister who makes us take our shoes off cause she has "special carpeting" and doesn't want it ruined. I want my guests to feel comfy so keep your shoes on if you want take them off if you want . You are MY guest and I want YOU to be happy.

If they are clean house keepers, I take them off, and I expect the same at my house.
