What does anyone think about being a nurse? I am wanting to start a career in nursing, is there any nurses out there that can give any information to help me in deciding to go back to school and get a lincense and become a nurse-lpn then rn. Any information will be appreciated.

Nursing, or any medical field is a growing field due to the baby boomer population getting older. Plus there is a shortage in that field. Check out www.lmi.state.(your state initials).gov

i'm not a nurse, but i think they are really great. i've volunteered as a student and worked with them. They have so much that they help out around their unit. They really are the backbone of their unit. I think you should do it. If you're really intent on helping people and you can dedicate the time for the program. you really should.
They need more nurses now than ever, so this would be a good career choice.

i can't tell you a whole lot about it as i don't know that much about it, but my freshman year i was a nursing major (i changed back to physical therapy because that's what i really want to do, i just had to switch schools for that later). what i do know is that it's hard to get into Nursing school, but if you work hard and get good grades that you're sure to have a job. nurses are in high demand and there are plenty of places to find jobs, like hospitals, clinics, schools, etc...
