I'm in charge of the cooking, cleaning the house, laundry, taking care of the kids, and grocery shoping. Theres a lot of other small things I do do but those are the main ones.

My husband does the same. I do the shopping and cooking, he cleans up the kitchen and does the dishes after we eat. He does all the bills (he's an accountant and why should both of us worry about them!) I send out the cards and remember the birthdays. He takes out the garbage, vacuums weekly and does the laundry. He also takes care of the cars and I oversee all the medical billing (I'm the nurse). Some weeks our marriage is 50/50 some 25/75 but in the end it's our marriage and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Honestly...
I am not really in-charge of anything...not food shopping, not even laundry. Wait, I am in-charge of decorating... kind of...
I get to decorate most of the house... everything except his office and his game room...
Oh! and dishes... I'm also in charge of making sure the dishes get cleaned....

I have to do all the things your wife did and then some.I have to write all the checks for the bills and send out Christmas cards to all his clients..Do his gift shopping for the grand kids birthdays and Christmas presents..but I enjoy doing it..

Nothing. I let them take control and do everything...
I have a housekeeper so I don't clean much. They drive most the time. I cook sometimes when I want too...I just stay on the PC or shop.

She has my vote also. Maybe she could be VP for Obama? I just bought a new joke book, but no Maxine jokes in there. unfortunately. I loved when she was compared to Martha Stewart. I have to disagree on the "mirror" one, though. doing housework in the nude makes me what to smear something like "turtle wax" all over the mirrors & leave it there.

im not married but i was in a relationship i i was in charge of renting movies for our movie nites and he was in charge of buying the pizza.

My husband never puts me in charge of anything. He works and I take care of the house.
Other than that ...we share responsibilities in the home as well.
