It would be advisable to use a bristle to keep the hole open until you can get another. The thing is that even if you have had the piercing for a long time the longer there is no jewellery in the quicker it will close (I have had over 20 piercings & that is what happened to some of mine)

Wow, you just took your nose out and it feel down the drain? Bummer! How long will it stay open? Well, until you get a new nose. I would check eBay, I think Michael Jackson is auctioning some of his extra noses off on that site.

I advise the sparkling retainers. you won't be able to be conscious them as a lot. the hollow in all likelihood gained't % up in view that they pierced through cartilage. you ought to both go away the hollow there or use the sparkling retainers.. whats up, you ought to continually get a nostril pastime..purely kidding. <3 I pierced my nostril with a 14 gauge hollow needle and it left an grotesque scar. :/

it should stay open for at least a day as you have had it done along time. But I would get one in it as soon as you can.

that you depend on your nose, my sister had hers done years ago and never wears a nose stud anymore due to work but can get one it it quite easily whereas my daughter had to take hers out for school and now cant get one in without quite a bit of pushing !! if you want to keep your nose peirced i'd get one in as soon as poss just in case.

it should stay open for ages... but I think the nose does heal itself more than the ears... cuz it's like that.
