I played the saxophone from 5-8 grade. I went to a small school where band kids were considered geeks. I had no contact with the "in crowd" during that time. The popularity of American Pie at the time didn't help. So in 9th grade I quit the band and started playing football. The cool kids realized I wasn't that bad and by 10th grade I was bonin cheerleaders. ha

My son-in-law plays drums for a popular band. His son is two years old and is playing the drums too. I think he'll become a world-class drummer! He's so freakin cute!!!

It was many years ago......drummer. I can say we give our teacher a head of gray hair....It was so much fun!
