Yes you can definitely get a false reading. Some woman actually don't carry the hormone that detects pregnancy in their urine and they need a blood test to determine. If you are not late yet don't worry yet. Some times with age a menstrual cycle can actually have the symptoms of pregnancy. Your body is always changing. Take a test in another week. Still symptoms and a negative test? See a doctor, clinics give blood test. and you don't need insurance. Good Luck! Hope the answer to your pregnancy is what you want.

Yes you can get a false negative result on a pregnancy test. If the hormones that the kit is testing for aren't high enough yet, then it will show you as not pregnant, when you actually are. Try the test again in a week or so. Worrying about being pregnant will cause you to be late. If you aren't pregnant, you will get your period, and if you are pregnant, worrying about it isn't going to change the test results!

Yes, it is possible to have a false negative on a pregnancy test. When your HCG levels are not up high enough it will create a negative pregnancy test. HCG is the hormone for pregnancy. Try back in about 2-3 days and if you still haven't gotten a period, see your physician. Blood tests are more accurate than a home pregnancy test. I wish you the best of luck.

I got a false negative I took the test 3 days after I missed a period and it was negative; and didnt find out I really was pregnant until I ended up in the ER 2 months later and they told me.
I'd wait a week or so if your period doesnt come. A lot of things can make your period late- stress, not eating, etc.
However if youre having morning sickness, and feel tired, then you probably are pregnant

Usually symptoms don't occur till about 1 to 2 months after your missed period. Everyone is different though. Yes, tests can be wrong! I took 2 EPT test which were positive and a pee test at the doctor's office that showed NEGATIVE, which resulted in many tears! Two days later, I got a BLOOD test done and showed positive! Even the doctor's tests can be wrong!

Yes! My aunt in- law is proof! She wasnt getting her period and took pregnancy tests monthly. (using all different brands) She kept getting negative results and after 6 months she finally went to the doctor because her tummy was getting larger and she thought she has a tumor. (kinda funny) but she was really 6 onths pregnant! Hows that for planning a baby with only three months to go? The HCG levels were low in her body and these are whats needed for the urine tests, but she had a healthy baby girl. Blood tests are much more accurate than urine but negative tests on positive pregnancies are very rare.

Yes, false negatives happen all the time. Some people can't get a + until 2 or 3 days after their period is late. It has to do with when the embryo implants and how rapidly your HCG levels rise, as well as how sensitive your test is.

Wait for your period to come,if it comes u know u arent pregnant..if it doesnt come within 3 days then take another test...Yes women can get false negatives but they arent that common,at your stage then u would prob get a false negative from the low hormone count but to make sure take a test 3 days after your missed period...if u DO get any kind of bleeding around this time u are due then take it as your period and that you arent pregnant..good luck!
