Yes it is.... for sure... All Peer-Peer software sharing programs are illegal, even Napster was illegal until someone bought it out, and made it legal, by having to pay for Mp3's
The thing is that when you download a MP3, from Limewire, you don't pay for it.. So you're not ACTUALLY supporting the artist

nope unless you do what you not supposed to. Example: download copyrighted material, such as copyrighted mp3s, videos and programs. The uses of limewire are basically limited. There are ways to reduce risk of getting caught.... don't share your files that you have and downloaded.

LimeWire is a file-sharing P2P(Peer to Peer) network. P2P networks aren't illegal. People however do share music that's copyrighted without licenses. That is illegal.
