with all this Anna Nicole smith stuff i was just curious. I was in the Bahamas in September and I forgot my prescription medicine (wellbutrin) in the U.S. I went to a pharmacy in downtown Nassau, told the lady at the counter and was then sent up a narrow little staircase upstairs to see the pharmacist. I told her what I needed she asked to see my bottle, I tolf her I did not have it and she said "OK". Went back down stairs and the medicine was sent down the dumb waiter. The whole thing just seemed kinda shady by U.S. standards.

HOW EASY WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO DO THE SAME THING THERE BUT TO HAVE GOTTEN NARCOTICS??

That seems to be a very good question. I am a Bahamian and it is difficult to get a prescription unless you have proof. However there are some places I know of that will give you some if they personally know you.

That is pretty shady by Bahamian standards too. I have never heard of such a thing. They will honor your US prescriptions, but you do have to have a prescription to get medicines there.
