Yeah i think some of it might be getting a little bit ridiculous. I do remember that giant rainbow colored sheet and I have no idea why it would be a risk. That seems crazy. I will admit that dodgeball probably should be left out because when i was in elementary school there was a guy who when he got the ball everyone ran to the back because he could literally knock you off your feet with his throw. It's a dangerous game. And one girl was partially blinded from it. Tug of war...i don't see the problem with that, that's kinda crazy...and tag...what's wrong with tag? LOL That's crazy too. I feel what you're sayin'

I remember this big nylon parachute like thing in grade school, it use to be fun. I do believe , however, that a child got caught up in it and no one realized it until he did not return to his class after gym. He was found strangled or suffocated, not sure which. I don't know about dodge ball, or knock out as we called it as kids, it really is no more dangerous than letting us have archery in high school. Tag--oh my god, we are turning our kids into french fry eating fat asses and the schools won't let them run around to exercise it off, how moronic! I think they should ban home-ec, someone could get burned on a stove, or chemistry, some kid could blow something up , better yet, ban lunch those school lunches are truly dangerous with that mystery meat. LOL

You think thats bad my kids school banned running at all. Yup its stupid, people sue to much and schools are afraid of liability if the kids get hurt. Let kids be kids but hey those sue happy people need to take some responsability for the prob too.

i'm more desirable into 'answering' than 'asking' the following on Y!A and, like you, a number of my responses do get extremely verbose.. although,... ... after I do submit the occasional question, the respondent i'm maximum in all danger to award the, albeit doubtful, award of "proper answer" to is the answer that i have self assurance replaced into the effect of someone who took the time to proffer a 'thoughtful' answer to my question. that's the reason why I many times scroll to the bottom of the web page of solutions and artwork my some time previous up; for the more desirable severe solutions are frequently the only top ones printed. i have even been recognize to provide a BA to a reaction that I disagreed with, - and in elementary words because I felt the attempt given to 'create' that answer replaced into more desirable worth of the excellence than than all and sundry-liner posts i'd ensue to consider. I do have some puppy peeves, although: i do compared to replica/PASTE solutions: C/P excerpts interior of an answer are high-quality,.. yet to provide only a C/Ped piece from, say, a WIki article isn't an answer: it really is plagiarism...:-)) 'textual content talk' AGRAV8S ME: Y!A is a Q&A communicate board, no longer a talk room. there's more than a number of time on the following to thoroughly spell out the words to an answer. SPELLING COUNTS, - AND SYNTAX concerns: all of us make blunders, and that is okay,... ...yet there is little excuse for the deplorable orthographics I many times see displayed the following on Y!A, - somewhat even as there is elementary get admission to to the 'examine Spelling' function. lengthy solutions at the on the spot are not continuously sturdy solutions: i have discovered that the intolerably lengthy solutions are frequently the effect of of an over-zealous 'decrease-and-paster'. i visit provide a thumbs-right down to such solutions with the intention to facilitate my get admission to to different solutions. i imagine that's about it...:-)) So, MumOF4,... ... in case you spot that i have printed a query, be at liberty to respond to it with 'optimal verbosity', and recognize that your reaction will truly accept my interest...:-)) -

That's STUPID. I completely agree with you. Tag is fun and anybody who thinks that's violent is just crazy! The board of the school must have been on drugs when they made that rule. I never heard of that! It's so........moronic!

It is stupid. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a conspiracy between schools to strip the fun out of poor little children.
