I recently met this guy who I think is a great friend. Anyway, a couple weekends ago he came over and ate with my family & I. Then this past weekend I asked him to go to the local mall with me. As soon as we got out of the car he suggested we see a movie. So I agreed, He picked the movie title. Then my friends came up behind us and I asked them what they were seeing the said the same movie... but then the guy I was with changed the movie. So I said ok. and we seperated from my friends. Then I thought he would skip a seat between us since we are just friends.but he didnt. After the movie he came to my house and we ate and hung out til around 11. Then the next night he invited me to dinner with he and his family. so I went. Then last night I was walking the dog past his house and on my way back he came out to get the mail. I'm thinking it just so happened that we were out at the same time. My other friends think he likes me. I think he is just trying to be a good friend. what do u think?

Sounds like he likes you to me!! Especially with the movie thing! He obviously wanted you all to himself! lol. Try saying that you're getting a crush on someone and see what his reaction is. Does he have any other mates? Guy one's? If he does and he's spending all his time with you then i think that he would like you.

Probably just good friends, but if you want to know ask him. Say something like this:

"My friends have been bugging me recently, telling me that you like me as more than a friend. Are they misreading things or am I?"

Then sit and wait for his answer. No matter what he says you have a face saving way out. If he says they are wrong, then you can say, "That is what I told them" if he says that they are right, then you can say either:
"I am so glad to hear that, because I have been wanting us to be closer." If that is what you want or,
"I'm sorry I don't feel that way towards you. I hope this won't hurt our friendship. It really means a lot to me."

Agree? To me, askg Qs on ‘Yahoo_Answers’ feels like talking2close-friend without any inhibitions whatsoever. I am never shy or afraid of askg things. I feel at home.

I'm sure that he thinks of you as his gf . if he seems to be shy around your friends that probably means he wants privacy
