Cats dislike the smell of citrus, and citrus-based products are used by some as a deterrent.
Also here is a website with quite a few tricks that are easy to keep cats away from your place.

You can use an automatic water sprinkler. They are fun to watch and work with pretty much all cats since cats hate water.

Please --- I'm requesting that you please---call an animal shelter in your area-and ask them to help set up traps (that are humane to the animal). They have traps that they use, and they also "entice" the animal with a little bit of food/maybe even water, inside the trap. But, you might entrap another critter instead-depends on if there are rats, raccoons, etc. in your area as well. If there is a no-kill cat shelter in your area, maybe ask for their help as well. Take care.

Used coffee grounds work well to keep them out of your garden. I would go to a farm supply place, they sell a spray to spray your yard with, its suppose to last for 3-4 months at a time, while your there ask one of those people if they have any better ideas. I wounder if moth balls around the perimeter would work? I know that it works for snakes. Might want to check that out.

you might want to find out why are are coming around.
If they want attention, you might be able to use something they don't like.
Make sure if they are visiting just to hang around that you aren't giving them a reason to. If they have favorite spots in your yard where they like to sleep, change it. If they are coming over to hunt birds, maybe move things around?
You might also call a local vet and ask them for advice. They might know what works in your area.
