Does sending troops without proper training or equipment = SUPPORTING them?

If you support the troops, shouldn't you DEMAND that they be properly trained and equipped? Is the yellow magnetic ribbon on your car really the best that you can do to support the troops?

And its a travesty to think that republicans keep saying by voting for a non binding war is sending the message you are not supporting the troops, when marine regiments on the front lines fdont have the most current K-pots.

billions are going to civilain contractors when troops in IRAQ dont have the proper equipment. If thats not enough forpeople to see what republicans really care about, then I dont know what would open their yes.

And you cant possibly compare afganistan with IRAQ.

And RICK..as far as training and level of preparedness of our troops. In comparison to how prepared we were going into IRAQ, we are very lucky we had the airforce and all the heavy metal and that the Republican guard was so ill trained, and beaten by the time we got there, because even for an 11B it was sad how ill trained unprepared we were for the gound battles.

It wasnt until recently that even basic training for a friend of mine became more combat oriented.

HOPEFUL: democrats need to cut the funding because the political leaders are forcing our troops into an illegal and immoral war. And thats the best way to honour them.
Or should we stay the course and continue to let young men and women die by the 1000s each year because they were sent to iraq irresponsibly?
