Get checked if you are worried, I fell off the top of an SUV at 9 months (don't ask) and landed on my tummy and was just fine, turns out there is a lot of padding to keep baby safe.

I know it's a pain, but you really should go get checked out. I did the same thing when I was about 7 months pregnant, and didn't worry about it. I had a prenatal appt later that day and when I mentioned it to the doctor, next thing I know I'm in the hospital getting ultrasounds and nonstress tests done. It could put you into labor or do worse. I'd get checked out just because baby is so big and you don't know what position s/he was in, you could of landed on something important or even gotten a small tear in the placenta, etc. As long as baby is still as active as before the accident I wouldn't be worried, but I'd get checked out just the same. Good luck and take care!

I know that in the media there is this story line-Pregnant lady falls down loses baby. But the truth is most pregnant women fall at some point in their pregnancy. Let's face it pregnancy is not our most graceful period of life :) I fell tummy first in the grocery store, I got stuck in a covered slide (I worked at a daycare-tip don't go down a covered slide when you are 9 months. You might get trapped inside) With my other son I fell in the shower. Every time I called my doctor, I was told to watch myself for bleeding and to make sure the baby was still moving the same amount. You should call your doctor, they might want to do an ultrasound or just check you. But chances are your baby is just fine. They have lots of fluid protecting them in there. But if you feel contractions or you feel like you are in a lot of pain call your doctor. You know your body better than anyone else, do what it tells you to do. Good luck with your new little one!

It doesn't sound like that could have caused serious harm to your baby, but you should definitely get to the doctor as soon as you can. Even at this late a stage, ballistic trauma like that can harm the baby.

You'll have to be the judge of how serious it is. If you don't feel hurt at all, you're probably fine. But If you're having pain, you feel no fetal movement or if you start to bleed, get to the ER.

Sorry that happened. Best of luck to you. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

As long as there was no heavy bumping of the body, and you don't feel like your tummy was overly disturbed. If I were you, I would still get checked, just to make sure that everything is okay still, 9 months along is a pretty sensitive time.
Good luck, and I hope all is well.

Yes You should be considered. Call you ob office they should aumtomatically send you to the labor and delivery unit to be evaluated. It doesnt matter if you are in pain, some complications with a fall in pregnancy causes no pain. OB nurse of several years.

Only if you are having pains in your stomach or lower back. I fell when I was that far along on the ice outside and nothing happened. I was just mad that I dropped my bologna sandwich.

Probably not unless u had direct trauma to your abdomen. But still get checked out just to be sure or if you notice new pain espeacially in your lower back or pelvic area.
