tire rotation depends on the type of tire you have.
for radial tires:
left rear to left front
left front to left rear
right front to right rear
right rear to right front
NEVER change the side of auto a radial is on.

non-radial tires:
left front to right rear
right rear to left front
right front to left rear
left rear to right front

wow people really don't know how to rotate tires. If directional take the fronts and move them straight back do not swap, and bring the rears straight up. All other tires rears go straight up front and the fronts get swapped to the back.

in spite of the actual incontrovertible fact that automobile manufacturers specify a definite tire rotation technique, it is not unfair to do this on your specific case: Rotate them from area to area. suitable front to Left front and vice versa. in case you had your tires suitable balanced you will no longer be conscious any substantial concern. Nor in the journey that your front alignment is nice. in any different case (improper stability/alignment) you will see some "shaking" which would be easy to severe. once you do this, the tires would be handing over a "backwards" mode or going "in opposite". If there is an improper tire placed on, you will sense it.

On most vehicles today the rears come straight to fronts and the fronts get switched to opposite sides at the back. If they're directional you can't do this, just swap to back but stay on the same side. Check your owner's manual for proper way to you vehicle make.

The most common method is strictly front-to-back and back-to-front without swapping tires from one side of the car to the other.
