Thinking brass would look good with black granite...but I'm not sure. I was wondering if gold or silver looks better? Is there any suggestion, please? Blue, green, red...colour like that would be nice too but I don't know which one to choose.

Thanks in advance!

It's not so much of a counter top...it's a custom granite box. Need a highlight and inside colour. It's more like an art, so...I guess I should have been more specific. Sorry about that!

Try Copper. I've recently seen some black slate pieces with copper accents and the combination is stunning... just the right amount of warmth.

I would definitley not go with gold, and brass is still kind of gold in color, so it would also not look so good. Black granite is likely cooler in tone, so if you must go with a metal, I would go with a brushed silver, or even a a slightly pewter color. I think it depends on what the use is and where it will be in your home.

Gold, brass or silver fixtures are fine with the black granite but you also need to consider the color of the cabinets/furnishings and wall color. Overall though I would stick w silver or a brushed pewter...

I wouldn't suggest the gold. Go with the silver, brushed pewter or stainless. Also, oiled bronze would look very nice.
