I am a Scorpio, I avoid danger at all costs that is going to harm myself. I am afraid of heights, so working on a high rise or a bridge or some high places wouldn't sit with me too well. But, I like the fact that danger is there, but my ex was dangerous, to know and to be with, I put up with him because I was the 'rescuer' of the relationship trying to constantly tell him to go to rehab, or take anger management.

Some Scorpios are in dangerous jobs like being a police officer, firefighters and soldiers, some Scorpios can disassociate their feelings from getting too personal with someone, especially in a profession. I can disassociate my feelings sometimes, but when it comes to my kid and family and you insult them in anyway watch out for my stinger.

It isn't so much they like it, it's just a natural part of them that they can't avoid. You see, Scorpio is the natural ruler of the 8th house, which rules life, death, taxes, inheritance, regeneration, yada, yada yada. Scorpios will always, or those having their sun in the 8th house or aspects thereto, more dealings with life, death, brushes with death, surgery, abortion, miscarriage, disability/health benefits, inheritance, etc, because those are some of the things scorpio rules, has natural rulership of. Also rules the Mafia, butchers, surgeons, emt's, police, firemen, firearms, stuntmen, daredevils,or any occupation where you just DO, without thought of self; you do what needs to be done, even if it means being a prostitute to earn a living. Also rules funeral parlors, the IRS, etc. It's not that they like it; they can't avoid it: comes with the territory of being born a scorpio, or having 8th house sun or aspects to pluto, or Mars, the co-ruler. Same goes with having scorpio as an ascendent. You will have more dealings with the above than the average person, because that is the chart you chose to come into this world with. Interesting fact about scorpio is that usually within 6 months of a Scorpio's birth, a family member has died, and they often resemble that person, whether in looks or mannerisms.

One of my Scorpio friends, yeah she enjoys adventures and she is doing kinda dangerous things. She loves extreme situations and she really can establish control over the situation..she can handle it without a panic and cope with it..I admire her but being a Taurus I do not like dangers..She really dares and get involved into really extreme situations..I hope one day that this won't harm her..Hope she is aware of it but nowadays I hardly believe that girl knows how to take care...I have one other friend, also a Scorpio but she is more reasonable and she doesn't really do things without firstly consider careful over them..she is more cautious...well like a general rule Scorpios like people or things that are intriguing and appealing to them..honestly I really admire the Scorpio people but I know for myself I am different..just I enjoy my time with them..
