Okay, if a guy liked you, and you said you liked him back, and you didn't think it would work becuase of other issues and you frequently acknowlegde the fact that you like him, and he flirts with you, would you excpect a gift ofr vday?

No, I would feel like I was leading him on. If you accepted the gift he would think that you changed your mind about the other issues affecting you two having a relationship.

If you don't think there will be anything between the 2 of you, then of course not, don't accept the gift. If you don't want a relationship with him, then don't accept the gift....most men get the wrong impression when you accept something and then you are not interested...also it makes you look like a "gold digger"

I don't think so. For a guy to give you a gift on Valentine's Day you should be an item. Not just casual friends getting to know each other.

no i would not expect a gift. the two of you are not officially together and he may see that as a reason not to buy you a gift. although if you two are as much into each other as you say he will. but don't expect it that way if he does come through it will be a pleasant surprise. and if he doesn't you wont be hurt.

yes..vday is not just about couples I get my best friend vday stuff and he is married and vise versa if u have told him it just wouldnt work then he knows that come on he is a guy give him credit besides friends with benifits is always fun as long as noone knows and no..Ive never slept with my best friend..hes not my type!

OK, U said you frequently acknowledge you like him,,,does he do the same? If he does, I would expect something even if its just a card.

possibly, maybe just a simple card. i wouldn't expect anything extravagant likes roses and chocolates, but maybe something simple like a text message, email or a card
